How tasks work
Tasks move across five stages on a drag-and-drop board: Planned, In Progress, Needs QA, Complete, Shipped. Drag a card to another column to change its status.
Inside a task
Open any card to add detail:
Add a task quickly from the board, then open it later to fill in the rest.
- Assignees — one or more teammates. They get a notification when you assign them.
- Due and start dates, which also show on the Dev Calendar.
- Labels to categorize work.
- Subtasks as a checklist.
- Photos and a cover image.
- Comments — the task’s creator and assignees are notified of new ones.
